603 Bushwick Ave, Brooklyn, New York 11206

All Ages show. Music starts at 9pm sharp. $8 cover.

Lineup from first to last:
1. The Jazzfakers
2. Collapsible Shoulder
3. Rose Kallal
4. Tripping Landlocked Infidels

Experimental noise & free jazz are woven together with nimble fingers, yielding uncategorizible results.
"Confused, driven and curious, the JazzFakers come alive from eons of pulsing sound waves."
Dave Tamura (sax, synths)
Raphael Zwyer (bass, effects)
Matt Luczak (percussion)
Robert Pepper (electronics, violin).

A mostly-instrumental quartet that plays taut, high-tension post-everything rock.
Chris Cochrane (guitar) has been performing at NYC venues since the 1980’s. He was a member of the bands Curlew and No Safety. He has played with Thurston Moore, Zeena Parkins, John Zorn, Marc Ribot, Eszter Balint, Mike Patton, Henry Kaiser and many others. Chris has composed music for Dennis Cooper, John Jasperse, Neil Greenberg, Nayland Blake, Ishmael Houston-Jones, Jennifer Monson and Circus Amok.
Brian Chase (drums) is a member of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and has played with Jessica Pavone, Mary Halvorson, Moppa Elliott, Ron Anderson, Alan Licht, Jeremiah Cymerman and many others.
Kevin Bud Jones (electronics) is a member of Airport 7 and a solo performer, and formerly with the band Dog Eat Dog.
Kato Hideki (bass) was a seminal member of the Tokyo noise scene of the late 80s/early 90s. Along with leading his own bands Player Piano and Bass Army, he was a member of Ground Zero with Otomo Yoshihide and Uemura Masahiro. Moving to NYC in 1992, he formed Death Ambient with Ikue Mori and Fred Frith. He has performed and recorded with John Zorn, Marc Ribot, Christian Marclay, Calvin Weston, Eyvind Kang, Billy Martin and many others.

Rose Kallal is a NYC based visual and sound artist. Her performances combine immersive multiple 16mm film loop projections along with live modular synthesis and percussion. Her work has been presented internationally at many venues, galleries and festivals.

Unrestrained and absurdist tub-drubbing percussion duo. Kevin Shea (Talibam!) and Fritz Welch (Peeesseye) are joined tonight by special guests Tamio Shiraishi (founding member of Japanese psych-noise band Fushitsusha) and K.mikal Mico (No-Neck Blues Band). Fritz Welch is based in Glasgow now, but he will be visiting New York to play a solo set at the Tectonics Festival earlier that weekend. This is a rare TLI live event. Giddyup!
